The refurbishment manifested Glenmorangie’s visionary approach to whiskey making; including the bold inclusion of a variety of brand colours and materials such as “Oxidised copper” wall finishes, a colourful tented ceiling, and molten copper lighting elements..
These elements created a memorable experience for guests, with joyful references to Glenmorangie’s whisky creation and flavour- inspired décor.
The tasting rooms have been restyled in bright, bold hues, with one reflecting the tranquil woodland surrounding the distillery’s water source, the Tarlogie Springs, and the other paying homage to the oak casks used in the distillery’s whisky-making process.
It was essential to the Glenmorangie company that the site remain fully operational throughout the refurbishment.
Through careful management and phasing of the works, Eastlake Group was able to mitigate disruption by ensuring the continuous operation of the retail function throughout the project by strategically relocating the entire retail element as the project phased across different areas of the site.
