Adapting The Existing

With a central focus of the project being sustainability, the project involved keeping as much of the existing internal architecture as possible, including internal partitions, electrical, lighting, fire suppression and air conditioning systems. All of these systems required large scale reconfiguration and adaptation to suit the new design.

With the very tight programme of works, this was a highly complex challenge which included the creation of a completely separate sub-tenancy space, with its own fully independent systems.

Upcycling & Refurbishment

The project is full of furniture that had reached the end of its normal lifespan, showing signs of age or wear and tear that we have given a second life through upcycling, refinishing and refurbishment.

These elements are particularly prevalent in the many meeting spaces throughout the space. With the reuse and repair of the existing table frames while modernising the finishes with new tops, updated power units and vinyl wrapping of credenza units to match in with the new finishes, the uplift is both environmentally responsible and seamlessly integrated.

Bespoke Manufacturing

This project had a large amount of bespoke joinery, from small scale bottle display units, to the stunning tasting bar and the nine meter whisky display wall.

As experts in bespoke joinery with our own carpentry and manufacturing division (Stag Developments), we worked closely with the project design team to identify and mitigate any possible complications with materials and construction in the design stages to ensure a stunning installation upon first-fit.

Having both main contractor works and bespoke joinery managed in-house ensured that both aspects were integrated seamlessly and proceeded in lock-step without miscommunications between trades.
